The Kentucky Center for School Safety provides this KCSS Emergency Procedures Flipchart acknowledging that now more than ever before, schools are faced with ongoing challenges. They must be prepared for a wide-range of emergency situations from natural disasters to threats of violence. School emergencies are unexpected, unpredictable, and can take many forms.This resource includes an alphabetical list of emergency response protocols and subsections for easy access to information when needed. This flipchart is offered solely to provide informal guidance and examples of good safety practices. It does not create any requirements or laws beyond those established by Kentucky Revised Statutes.
